At SAMFORTUNA FOUNDATION, we believe that environmental conservation and economic development go hand in hand. Our Livelihood Enhancement Programs are designed to uplift underserved communities by creating income-generating opportunities that are environmentally sustainable and socially inclusive.
We focus on building green livelihoods — jobs and enterprises that not only provide income but also contribute to environmental restoration and resilience.
Our Key Interventions:
Skill Development & Vocational Training We provide hands-on training in eco-friendly vocations such as organic farming, solar installation, composting, waste recycling, and nature-based crafts.
Women & Youth Empowerment Tailored programs aimed at equipping women and youth with the tools, confidence, and networks to start and sustain green enterprises.
Market Linkages & Entrepreneurship Support Supporting small producers with branding, packaging, digital marketing, and access to local and fair-trade markets.
Eco-Enterprise Incubation Incubating community-led businesses in areas such as sustainable agriculture, renewable energy services, eco-tourism, and recycled product manufacturing.
Access to Microfinance & Resources Facilitating access to financial services, tools, and materials needed to start or scale sustainable livelihood activities.
Integrated Livelihood Models Combining conservation and income generation — such as promoting agroforestry, beekeeping, or handicrafts made from recycled or natural materials.
